Vice President, Operations
Kam Parmar is the Vice President of Operations of The Totus Group LLC and its family of technology-oriented companies, committed to developing holistic solutions for building optimization and energy efficiency.
He joined Automatic Building Controls LLC in 1996, and is responsible for the management of the field engineers, application engineers, and project managers. He is known for timely completion of projects while exceeding customer’s expectations. Kam provides well-rounded leadership having started out as a field engineer and then accepting promotions multiple times throughout his career. These promotions include positions such as application engineer, estimating, sales, project management and operations.
Prior to joining The Totus Group LLC he worked for Johnson Controls as a Systems Engineer and Application Engineer. He has over fifteen years of experience in building controls and automation, and implementing innovative control systems and energy management solutions. Kam provides unique technical and mechanical expertise related to building energy savings and operational efficiency.
His experience also provides over ten years of experience in HVAC, Building Automation/Control Systems and Energy Management with a proven track record of successful projects. Kam is currently providing engineering and project management leadership for FIX Consulting LLC, and Automatic Building Controls LLC.
He Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in HVACR Engineering Technology from Ferris State University, and is in the process of becoming LEED Certified, for Existing Buildings and Project Management. Kam also speaks 3 languages, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Kam Parmar currently resides in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three children. He is a basketball and cricket enthusiast and enjoys spending his time with his family.
